SKILL DEVELOPMENT AWARENESS PROGRAMME
Skill development is the process of identifying skill gaps and developing and honing these skills. It is important because skills determine ability to execute plans with success. Our organization has started Skill Development Awareness Programme.
Different types of skill Development programmes are organized for boys and girls by different NGOs. The said programme is free to all boys and girls without caste, creed and language.
DE-ADDICTION CUM REHABILITATION CENTER
There are different types of drug addicts and there are different reasons to become a alcohol addict some of them are socio -economical condition, psycho behavior problem including frustration, low mentality, handicapped, personality disintegration, indiscipline acts, anxiety, tension, conflicts etc. These people become happy by drinking alcohol. These people become addicts through their friends or other reasons. Peoples initially drink alcohol to overcome boredom, depression and fatigue, frustration in life, family broken, unemployment, parental negligence etc. and after this they become habitual.
As Latur is earthquake affected, Drought prone and backward district there are large number drug addicts therefore organization has started De-addiction cum rehabilitation center at Latur. Every year organization has organized awareness programmes, publicity camping, rally etc. On the occasion of the 2nd October Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti, our organization has organized “Alchohol Free Society” rally to do awareness in society.
YOGA TRAINING CAMP
Yoga is essentially a spiritual discipline based on extremely subtle science which focuses on bringing harmony between mind and body. It is an art and science of healthy living. There are different benefits of Yoga, it aids in weight loss, Yoga improves immunity, Yoga relieves stress and anxiety, Yoga increases flexibility and muscle strength, Yoga maintain healthier lifestyle.
Yoga is a gift given by India to the world. Now yoga becomes one of the important part of human being, therefore our organization has Organized Yoga Training camp at Latur. qualified & Experienced staff is appointed for this. Through this awareness is made in Socity about Yoga. Different Yoga Camps are organized at different places.
VYAYAMSHALA (GYAMNANISUM)
The Organization has started Vyayamshala (Gyamnanisum) at Gudsur. Organization has appointed qualified staff to teach the participants. Organization has not got grant for the purchase of sports equipments, but our organization has got the equipments from the donations of the people.
The said Gyamnanisum becomes very useful to the village boys because before this no sports facilities are available in the village.
Continuous CARE HOME AND HOME FOR SENIOR CITIZENS AFFLICTED WITH ALZHEIMER’S/DMENTIA
Due to intense poverty, famine, drought, natural disasters, chronic endemic diseases, and poor mental health care all are contributing to turning a large number of old-aged persons into helpless and destitute each year. Alzheimer’s disease is a progressive neurological disorder that causes the brain to shrink (atrophy) and brain cells to die.
Alzheimer’s disease is the most common cause of dementia – a continuous decline in thinking, behavioral and social skills that affects a person’s ability to function independently. Organization has started Respite Care Home and Home For Senior Citizens Afflicted with Alzheimer’s /Dementia at Omerga Dist. Osmanabad.
HOSTEL FOR SC BOYS
The scheduled Castes means such castes, races or tribes or parts of or groups within castes, races, or tribes, being castes, races, tribes, parts of groups which appears to his majesty in council or correspond to the classes of persons formerly knows as “the depressed classes”as his majesty in council may specify.
Therefore Organization has started Hostel for Scheduled Caste boys who are studing in IX to XII at Sangli dist. Sangali. Scheduled castes boys have problems in getting education, due to weak economical condition and other problems lot of Scheduled Caste boys are not able to get education. Therefore our organization has started Hostel for Scheduled Castes boys.
SENIOR CITIZEN HOME FOR ELDERLY WOMEN
As Latur is earthquake affected, Drought prone and backward district there are large number of elderly women who have need of Shelter Home, therefore our organization has decided to start Senior Citizen Home for elderly women at Latur. The entry in the said Senior Citizen Home for Elderly women is free to all the elderly women without any Caste, Creed, Language and colour.
All the facilities are provided to these elderly women free of cost. For this organization has taken a building on rental basis and all the facilities and amenities are present in the said building. Also organization has appointed qualified and experienced staff to take care of these elderly women.
